Free player prop research, built around your question.
Sideline Research brings published player lines and recorded game history together for NFL, NBA, WNBA and college football. Pregame research is free without an account or credit card. Use the tools to understand a sample before forming your own view.
Where can I research players before building a parlay?
Start with an individual player rather than treating a group of selections as one prediction. Open a sport board, choose a published prop, review game logs and compare the available sportsbook thresholds. Saved selections appear in Pick Builder. Historical results for separate selections do not establish the probability of a combined parlay.

How often has a player cleared this line?
Choose a history range and an Over or Under side. A historical hit rate counts strict results above or below the selected threshold; ties are non-hits. Inspect the individual games and sample size. Missing statistics remain unavailable rather than becoming zero. Historical rates are descriptive, not forecasts.
Which sportsbook has a different player line?
The board shows available sources beside each prop. Compare the same player, game, market, side and threshold. Alternative thresholds and exchange buy prices ask different questions; keep their prices and settlement rules with them. Available books and markets vary.
What changes when a teammate plays?
In supported player research, choose a teammate and inspect recorded with/without samples, then check minutes and game context. Teammate participation requires recorded evidence. A missing game log is not proof that a player was inactive. Small or mixed-season samples need care.
Where can I see NBA and WNBA player research?
Basketball research includes game logs, a performance profile, box score averages, venue and result splits, minutes, availability context and recorded line movement when observations exist. Range and exclusion controls let you examine the underlying sample.
Can I research a player when no current prop is posted?
Yes. Recorded player history remains available between slates. History-only research does not invent a current line or use expired quotes as an available offer. Open a sport’s player directory to find recorded history.
Can I track live NFL props and current player progress?
The NFL Live Props beta is free with a Sideline account through October 31, 2026. It shows available in-game quotes and reported player progress. Source quotes and game statistics have their own timestamps; a retained research row does not guarantee the sportsbook is still offering that price.
How are Top Picks selected?
Top Picks is a research shortlist using paired sportsbook prices, historical support and availability checks. Scores are not calibrated win probabilities. Open the player research to inspect why a candidate appears.
How do I check sources and limitations?
Read the research methodology and source credits and the player prop research guide. Coverage varies by sport, player, market and source. Sideline is an independent research platform; it does not place wagers.
